1. Introduction
This document sets out the minimum technical requirements for trainees and instructors to participate in online programs, and the recommendations that deliver the best distance learning experience.
2. Minimum Technical Requirements

| Virtual classroom software | Zoom app, latest release |
3. Recommended Performance

4. General Guidance
- Test connection, audio and camera well before the session time.
- Use a wired or stable network when sitting online examinations.
- Keep the operating system, browser and virtual classroom app up to date.
- Contact technical support through the official channels if access fails.
5. Basic Requirements for Joining Programs
The trainee must have the following:
- A computer, tablet or smartphone with a current, supported operating system.
- A stable internet connection, with headphones and a microphone, and a camera when required.
- Basic skills in using the website, the training platform and the virtual classroom application.
The trainee must also have the following skills:
- Proficiency in the language in which the program is delivered, Arabic or English.
- The ability to read and comprehend in that language.
- The ability to perform basic arithmetic.
- The ability to communicate and interact with the instructor and fellow trainees.
