About CISI
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is a professional body for financial services. It emerged from the London Stock Exchange in 1992 and received its Royal Charter on 9 October 2009. It is an educational charity registered in England and Wales and in Scotland, and offers professional qualifications and continuing professional development.
CISI and the CMA qualification exams (CME)
The Capital Market Authority developed its qualification exams with the Financial Academy and CISI. They are required for registration in registrable functions at capital market institutions. Each certificate has two exams: part A is an international syllabus from CISI, and part B covers the Saudi capital market rules and regulations.
- Introduction to Securities and Investment (CME-1).
- Global Financial Compliance (CME-2).
- Securities, for securities brokers (CME-3).
- International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management (CME-4).
- Corporate Finance Technical Foundations (CME-5).
Investment Academy and CISI
Investment Academy is a CISI accredited training partner, and its courses prepare candidates for these exams in line with the official CISI and CMA syllabuses.
